Running in San Francisco always brings me joy, and I’m sure that as this blog progresses many more stories will arise from my runs. Today’s run scored a double-smile rating:
Just entering Golden Gate Park, I ran past a little girl walking with her dad. Upon running by them the little girl turned to her father and asked, “Where is she running?” Her dad then explained that I was exercising.
The smile that this comment brought to my face barely had a second to fade before smile-factor number two emerged: as I made my way back home and turned back onto my street, an old man drove by, honked, and then gave me the thumbs up.
